Fortunately, before I left I thought about little details like, using electronics overseas. Don't they have different kinds of plugs? How do you plug in your stuff? I plan on taking my iPod, camera, phone (not necessarily the same thing), and, of course, my computer. But what if I get half way across the world and can't use them? Time for some cogitation....
Here's the solution!
Cool, huh? I ordered this nifty little item from Walkabout Travel Gear. It converts one plug to another, so I can use my electronics even if I am in the ancient city of Jerusalem. Who would have thought?!

Watch out for the wattage, though! I know several people who shorted out either their hairdryers or the electricity in the room when we went to France because although they had the plug adapters, they didn't realize how much wattage was needed/not needed =)
ReplyDeleteMy idealistic dream of becoming a Luddite was dashed because I realize I JUST CAN'T GIVE UP MY ELECTRONICS. And it's hard to blog without the internets. ;-) We want to hear from you on this pilgrimage, so get your technology together, brother. ;-)
